Artist information

Born in Valencia in 1974. She studied Fine Arts at the San Carlos faculty in Valencia, specialising in sculpture and chalcograph engraving(1992-97). She continued hes artistic training through several monographics workshops with the artists Juan Carlos Albaladejo, David Reid, Yoriyasu Masuda, Enric Mestre, Luis Cabrera and Martin Chirino, working techniques and materials as diverse as pottery, foundry, welding, the Japanese paper, lithography and the forge.

Currently her work focuses on the study of organic forms, relating their personal and creative symbolic sculptural biologies, materialized in stone, iron, ceramic, bronze, plastics and silicones. She has been invited to take part in International Sculpture Symposium in the following countries: Argentina, Peru, Cuba, Wales, Uruguay, Canada, USA, Brazil, New Zealand, Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, France, Turky and Spain (Cartagena, Zaragoza and León), carving large sculptures in stone or wood that today,are part of public sculpture park located in those countries. She is a founding member of the group Banda Ancha, created in September 2003 by four women sculptors with similars artistic concerns: Elsie Wood, Brenda Oakes, Constantine Iconomopulos, Beatriz Carbonell. Her personal work is exposed temporarily in municipal cultural centers and art galleries in Valencia and is reflected in several art catalog
